Amsterdam Center for Language and Communication (ACLC)

The Amsterdam Center for Language and Communication focuses on the study of both functionally and formally oriented linguistic research.

Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA)

The Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study and analysis of contemporary culture.

Institute of Culture and History (ICH)

The Institute of Culture and History seeks to foster disciplinary, interdisciplinary and collaborative research in European culture and history from a historical perspective.

Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC)

ILLC's central research area is the study of fundamental principles of encoding, transmission and comprehension of information. Emphasis is on natural and formal languages, but other information carriers, such as images and music, are studied as well.
